General MacIntyre

That's right.  After Ginny going crazy, running around, and not getting all of her little puppy energy out, we decided maybe she could use a companion to help her expel some of that energy.  We have been taking her for a couple walks/runs a day, but she seemed to need more.  Yesterday we went to our class and talked with our trainer and she suggested if we were to get another companion it would be best to foster another dog that is close to her age so that they can play together the way puppies like to.  So far (it being 2 days) Ginny and Mack are doing great!  General MacIntyre seems to be just what we were hoping for.  Mack is more even keeled and less rambunctious, but when he plays with her, he lets her know he's in charge.  The only sad thing here is we are once again house training.  Oh well!  Mack is part pit bull, part vizsla and is supposedly the same age as Ginny, but he is also smaller.  We're not so sure that he really is her same age, but that's what the shelter seemed to have thought.
We might be feeling a little bit crazy, but it's working so far.  We'll keep you posted!  Yes, we now own 10 chickens and two puppies.  This inn is all full!  (Except for maybe a spot for about 10,000 bees.  Ha, ha!)

Well we have been loving playing with him. Who knew that kids need a puppy to get their energy out also!
Bring on the bees.

What the... I can feel my blood pressure going down already. They are a darling set and watching them play makes me tired, too. How nice I have puppies to visit whenever I want and I don't have to house train anything. Not even bees.
