We Didn't Die... We're Just Moving

So It has been since November since we last posted.  My it has been a busy and crazy few months.  We sold our home at the end of November and have moved in with Grandma and Grandpa until our house is done being built.  They have been so patient with the extra roomates in their new home.  In building this new home we will be able to create a large space in the basement that can be dedicated to Marja's Let's Play Music classes as well as have a little more space in the yard.  We are super excited about finally having a fireplace and the separate music studio as well as all the lovely dirt in our yard.  We love to garden and the place we are building used to be a pasture.  That means No Rocks!  Here is a picture of the girls in the backhoe.  This was taken just after they backfilled the foundation last week.

Today and yesterday they put up the walls and floors of the house.  We walked through it this evening.  It was pretty cold but intersting to see the wall frames and where the rooms go.  Here is Marja and Aspen heading into what will be the mudroom.

Here is Bela and Elise in what will be Aspen and Bela's Room.

Can't you just imagine a nice warm fire here?  We really could have used one today.  It was cold!

And here is a picture taken from outside the house.  You can see the garage on the right, and above the garage will be the master bedroom.  On the left is the girls' room above and the piano room below.

So we are hoping that by the beginning of June we will be moving in and starting on finishing the basement.  We'll try to keep some updates as the house goes up.
